NFL Player Prop Trend: Javonte Williams Over 1.5 Receptions
If there’s one thing Javonte Williams knows how to do, it’s catch the ball—and he’s been on fire lately! Williams has an impressive 100% catch rate over his last five games, snagging every 3.8 receptions in that span with 4.8 targets per game. And if you’re looking for a reason to back him tonight, he’s up against a Saints defense that has been more than generous to running backs in the passing game. The Saints are giving up the 6th most receiving yards to RBs this season, averaging 42.8 yards per game. That’s not all—they’re also allowing 4.3 receptions and 5.3 targets per game to backs like Williams. It’s safe to say the opportunity is there, and Williams is primed to take advantage. But it gets even better—Williams and Bo Nix are starting to click, with Williams being targeted a whopping 12 times over his last two games!
NFL Player Prop Trend: Devaughn Vele Over 1.5 Receptions
Javonte Williams is getting a lot of the spotlight, but there’s another rookie catching my attention—Devaughn Vele. With Josh Reynolds out, Bo Nix has found a new go-to guy in Vele. Over his last two games, Vele is quietly racking up solid numbers: averaging 58.5 receiving yards and 6 receptions per game. The Saints’ defense? They’ve been letting wide receivers do just about whatever they want, allowing the 5th most receiving yards (an average of 177 yards per game) and the 4th most targets (22.8 per game) to WRs. With Nix projected to throw 30-32 pass attempts tonight, Vele should get his fair share of opportunities. Given the Saints’ weaknesses and Vele’s rising stock, consider betting on Vele Over 1.5 receptions.
NFL Player Prop Trend: Alvin Kamara Over 24.5 Receiving Yards
Alright folks, let’s dive into this monster of a play with none other than Alvin Kamara. This guy has been nothing short of a BEAST on the field, and when it comes to hitting the over on his receptions, he’s been a machine! Kamara has cashed in on the over in 5 of his last 6 games—that’s some serious consistency, and it’s no fluke. And yes, a lot of that was with Derek Carr throwing him the rock, but even with a change under center, I’m expecting Kamara to be fed the ball just as much. Now here’s where it gets real juicy: Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave are OUT tonight. That means Kamara is going to be the focal point of the passing game, and the books know it! They’ve got him pegged at 4.5 receptions with the over HEAVILY juiced. What does that tell you? It tells you Kamara should be snagging at least 5 catches tonight, if not more. And here’s a crazy stat for you stat geeks: in Kamara’s career, when he has only 4 receptions, he’s STILL hit this over in 24 out of 26 games—that’s a staggering 92% hit rate. So, history is definitely on our side with this one! If you’re worried about Denver’s defense, don’t be. The Broncos are giving up 32.5 receiving yards per game to running backs this season while allowing 4.5 receptions per game. They’re more than willing to let backs like Kamara eat them up in the passing game.
FYI: I combined all three on Hard Rock @ -110 Odds. Best of luck tonight!
