NFL Player Prop Trend: Darnell Mooney Over 29.5 Receiving Yards
All aboard the Mooney Express to Cashville! Is anyone even surprised anymore? I’ve been riding Darnell Mooney’s hype train since Week 4, and there’s no getting off now. Kirk Cousins can’t get enough of him—over the last seven games, Mooney’s averaging nearly 70 receiving yards on eight targets per game! He’s snagged four red zone targets in the past four games and ranks tenth among wide receivers in deep targets. With a 20.5% target share, a whopping 35.5% air-yard share, 1.92 yards per route run, and a 27.2% first-read share, he’s a stats machine. This Sunday, he’s up against a Cowboys defense that’s giving up 143.7 receiving yards to wideouts. The sportsbooks have his receptions line at 4.5 with minimal juice, and his 3.5 receptions prop is heavily juiced at -227—so yeah, he’s at least grabbing four catches! Here’s the kicker: over his career, he’s hit this over 88% of the time—that’s 23 out of 26 games! The three games he missed? He was short by a combined total of just eight yards. Practically nothing! With the game boasting an over/under of 52, I’m sticking with the Mooney train all the way to the bank!
NFL Player Prop Trend: Courtland Sutton Over 29.5 Receiving Yards
Buckle up because Courtland Sutton is primed to skyrocket into the top 5 receiving yards this week, and I’m all in on him not just blowing past the 29.5 receiving yards line, but absolutely smashing his original line too. Last week, Sutton dazzled with a season-high 100 receiving yards and eight catches, landing as the WR21. He’s set to stuff the box score again in Week 9. With a 21.7% target share, a whopping 38.6% air-yard share, 1.58 yards per route run, and grabbing the first read nearly 30% of the time, he’s a force to be reckoned with. This weekend, he’s up against a Ravens defense that’s leaking like a sieve—allowing the most passing yards to QBs at 311 per game and the third-most receiving yards to WRs at 190 per game. Sutton averages 7.3 targets per game, but expect him to hit double digits against Baltimore. The books have him at 4.5 receptions with very little juice, but at 3.5 receptions he’s heavily juiced! Here’s the kicker: At 3+ receptions, Sutton has hit this over at a staggering 93% of the time (28 out of 30 games), and at 4+ receptions, he’s hit this over in every. single. game. Over/under is at 46.5, should be a fun one!
NFL Player Prop Trend: Tua Tagovailoa Over 199.5 Pass Yards
Get ready for an electrifying showdown this weekend! Tua Tagovailoa is back in action after that early exit in Week 2 against the Bills due to a concussion, and you can bet he’s got revenge on his mind. With the over/under set at 49.5, expect fireworks on the field! Sure, the Bills boast a solid secondary, but they’ve allowed 6 out of 8 quarterbacks to throw for over 200 yards, averaging 224.5 passing yards allowed per game. Tua loves playing in Buffalo, averaging 240 passing yards over his last three games there. The sportsbooks have him at 33.5 or 34.5 pass attempts, but here’s where it gets juicy: when Tua throws 30 or more passes, he’s hit the over in 28 out of 30 games, averaging a whopping 278 passing yards! And those two times he didn’t? He missed by just 8 yards combined.
FYI: I combined all three on Fliff @ -127 Odds. See you at the finish line 🫡
